Installation Guide

Windows (Installer)

  1. Download

    Click the download button above to get the .exe installer.

  2. Run the installer

    Double-click the downloaded file. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning saying "Windows protected your PC" β€” this is normal for new applications that have not yet been code-signed by Microsoft.

    How to proceed past the SmartScreen warning:

    1. Click "More info" on the warning dialog
    2. Click "Run anyway" to continue the installation

    MailHelm is safe to install. This warning appears because we are a new application. We are working on obtaining a code-signing certificate to remove this warning in future releases.

  3. Install

    Follow the installation wizard. MailHelm installs to your user folder by default β€” no admin rights required.

  4. Set up

    Create your master password and add your first email account. Optionally, configure an AI provider (Groq recommended β€” free with no region limits) for smart classification.

Linux (AppImage)

  1. Download

    Click the download button above to get the AppImage file.

  2. Make executable 
    chmod +x MailHelm-1.0.0.AppImage
  3. Run 
    ./MailHelm-1.0.0.AppImage
  4. Set up
